Meet Sally-Anne Andrew
Living in England, I used to imagine such a place – a secret garden exuding magic and mysticism amid the allure of hills as old as time. I fell in love with the seductive lure of Little Washington. Attracted to all the charming small villages in Rappahannock, I purchased a very unassuming home on Christmas Tree Lane almost two decades ago.
The unpretenious, silver lining of a cloud-gray Cape along a craggy Rappahannock mountainside built on a once-upon-time Christmas Tree Farm beckoned me. Years of investment converting the getaway to a place of solace, did not come without some toil, inspiration, perspiration, and creativity.
Truly labors of love.

What Our Happy Customers Say About Us
“We traveled to the cottage from DC for a brief getaway as a family of four. From the moment we booked, Sally went out of her way to welcome us warmly. She set up a call to get to know us and our preferences and provided detailed and thoughtful recommendations for our stay. The home is as lovely as advertised, with beautiful grounds and a deck where we spent much of our time, looking at the mountains and saying hello to the cows. We were cool and comfortable on a hot weekend and had everything we needed to make several meals at home, as well as ideas of great places to go when we ventured out. I highly recommend the cottage if you’re looking for a beautiful place to disconnect. Sally-Anne takes great pride in her home and it shows.”
